Think of a wonderful thought!
Any merry little thought?

When there's a smile in your heart
There's no better time to start
Think of all the joy you'll find
When you leave the world behind
And bid your cares goodbye

You can fly

Or at least blog!
Yes, I am finally sorted out with my commenting system.. fingers crossed and don't lose that merry little thought.

In case it was not obvious by the above picture, I am just back from Disney on Ice tonight!
It was a lot of fun.   Amazing thing to see the skaters so high above the ice in the Peter Pan segment.

So if someone could come over and sing all the Disney songs with me, that would be swell.
Also, this house has officially reset the countdown clock back to ZERO days have passed without someone singing Let It Go

There went my happy thought.

The Friendly Fill-Ins are four fun and easy statements to complete. Each Thursday, Ellen of 15andmeowing provides the first two statements and I suggest the latter two statements. We try to make the fill-ins fun to answer and to share. On Friday, the linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM. Please come back, link up, and share your thoughts! Everyone is welcome!

Here are this week's statements with the blanks:

Week 42: February 24, 2017

1. I wish manners would come back in style.    Just go to a large venue full of a large amount of people if you want to know what I mean.   Some people need a basic course in "walking in a crowd."

2. I always have anything you could possibly need in my purse (or wallet for men).

No lie.   The last time I was out with friends at any given time someone needed a paper clip, a tampon, matches and a hair elastic; and I had each item in my purse.

3. I think that I  need to get back to taking pictures soon!  It's actually warmer this weekend, although rainy, but hopefully a spot of sunshine will bless us this weekend.

4.   Anyone who is of a mean spirit  is a pet peeve of mine.    Honestly, I just cannot understand why one human would be mean, unkind, cruel to another human being.   It's so easy to be kind.

Let's Art!

A little something from my last photography session where I was practicing capturing some still life.   My bathroom vanity has various coloured bottles, antique jars and plates that hold thing such as cotton balls, Q-tips and toothbrushes.   One might say I was going for a certain aesthetic, but the truth is I would just rather use an old Mason jar or a coloured wine bottle to hold an artificial flower than actually going to a store and buying something.   Lazy, or artful?

This particular jar holds cotton cosmetic pads and I simply took an old headband with flowers and wrapped around the jar to pretty it up a bit.

Making something out of the mundane is definitely arting.
