Happy Canada Day to all the Red, White and Proud fellow Canadians!

This is the version of the song The Maple Leaf Forever, as song during the final game of the Toronto Maple Leafs at their original stadium, by the great Canadian Legend, Anne Murray.  You may also recall it as it was song by Michael Buble during the closing ceremonies of the 2010 Winter Olympics.

O, land of blue unending skies,
Mountains strong and sparkling snow,
A scent of freedom in the wind,
O'er the emerald fields below.
To thee we brought our hopes, our dreams,
For thee we stand together,
Our land of peace, where proudly flies,
The Maple Leaf forever.

Long may it wave, and grace our own,
Blue skies and stormy weather,
Within my heart, above my home,
The Maple Leaf forever!

O, Maple Leaf around the world,
You speak as you rise high above,
Of courage, peace and quiet strength,
Of the Canada that I love.
Remind us all, our union bound
By ties we cannot sever,
Bright flag revered on every ground,
The Maple Leaf forever!

These images are my own personal edits from my photography, and I have not watermarked them so that you can use them if you wish to celebrate the day.    However, lease give credit to me, as that would be very nice and Canadian of you to do so, eh?

Have a safe and happy Holiday Canada!!
