When I took my Canon Rebel DSLR with me on vacation, I also took the next couple of weeks of photography prompts with me; just in case I discovered the perfect shot.

Despite our hosts doing us the favour of giving us the prompts MONTHS ahead of time - (meaning I already have the entire year on a handy cheat sheet)!   I still find myself checking what the prompt is, I'll be honest:  Wednesday night!

Which means the biggest challenge is scrambling to find something to fit the prompt.    I don't think that is the intended challenge.  Also, it's supposed to be FUN, not stressful.

As it turns out, knowing what you are are supposed to be looking for, AND having your camera handy in your hands?    Much easier challenge met.

Dodging the water was a different challenge all together.

And just because I am so happy to finally smell Spring in the air, and cannot wait to get into my garden:   I pulled one yellow from my archives and gave it a fresh edit.

Hello Spring and the return of Sunny Yellow!!

Through The Lens Thursday is a self-improvement photography project that Alison of Writing, Wishing and Greta of GFunkified, are doing this year (again!).
Don’t forget to join our Flickr group or share your own posts if you’d like to follow along and work on your own photography! And use the hashtag #throughthelensthursday to connect with others working on it, too.

Next week’s prompt is CAFFEINE
