Just when I was beginning to feel better again...

A new fever hits.

Olympic Fever that is!!

Google Image search (Global News)
I would say that Canada is doing quite well with 4 Gold, 6 Silver, and 4 Bronze last time I checked the standings.    Ultimately it is all about the spirit of competition and just seeing all the athletes do their best.   I don't mind cheering for anyone who has amazing talent and heart!   Already, I have also seen some amazing feel good stories that embody the Olympic Spirit.

(Bonjour Alexandre Bilodeau and your wonderful, amazing brother Frederic - I am talking to you!)

"The important thing is not to win, but to take part."

Except Hockey.

But then we will say Thank You, cause we are nice like that.

I’m (XmasDolly) the Conductor on this Musical trip.  Co-conductors are my buds Callie of JAmerican Spice, Stacy of Stacy Uncorked, Cathy of  Curious as a Cathy, Naila Moon of Just the Stuff You Know and Honorary co-conductor this month will be our Becca from Every Day Life  due to the fact that our co-conductor Stacy will be taking a hiatus for a few weeks because she’s moving.  Yep our gal bought a beautiful house.  If you stop by her place you can take a peek!   NOW LET’S ROCK THIS PLACE & get this TRAIN rollin’!

Today's Music Theme is Freebie:   Seems only fitting to get some music with Spirit!

In celebration of the icy slopes, and because our church had a special guest speaker on Sunday of this former Olmpic skier:  Kate Pace Lindsay

Maybe one day Canada will get a gold medal in men's figure skating, but until then, I still got nothing but pride for ya Chan.   And may I also say; you have excellent taste in composers.

Relive the moments from Vancouver 2013 with this really amazing montage:
(and hey - pass the beer Montgomery!)

But seriously, it's all about the hockey folks!

Bring it!  Hoping for a Canada vs. USA Gold Medal Final!!
There's no one else I'd rather beat play.

All in the spirit of fun and unity of course.
