This week our esteemed Master of the Lists, has requested a list of 10 regarding Birthdays.

Well, I don't know about you....but I stopped having any. *side eye*

And since you have to reach a certain age to achieve that, I cannot possibly fit all the great ones I have had into a list of 10.    Thus, I give you some great facts about my birthday, May 13th, 1971.

(you're doing the math, aren't you.....b*tches.)

1.   If you are into astrology, I am a Taurus, The Bull.    Now, I don't subscribe much to it, but I do have to say it sounds kinda accurate:

Patient and reliable
Warmhearted and loving
Persistent and determined
Placid and security loving

On the dark side....

Jealous and possessive
Resentful and inflexible
Self-indulgent and greedy

Just subtract all that stuff after "on the dark side.."   LOL

Some famous people who share my special day:

2.  Joe Louis, American Boxer, 1914-1981:  that must be where I get my "fighters stance" from.

3.  Bea Arthur, American Actress, 1922-2009:   obviously my comic talent and magical singing voice

4.  Lauren Phoenix,  Canadian porn actress, 1979:   um, no comment.

5.  Robert Pattinson, actor and vampire loved by all, 1986:  sorry must be fate.

Some noteworthy historical events.
I mean, besides the fact that Robert and I share a birthday.

6.   1939 – The first commercial  FM radio station in the United States is launched in Bloomfield, Connecticut. The station later becomes WDRC-FM.

Pretty sure an early version of "Call Me Maybe" was the first song played.

7.  1960 – Hundreds of University of California, Berkeley students congregate for the first day of protest against a visit by the House Committee on Un-American Activities. Thirty-one students are arrested, and the Free Speech Movement is born.

Not sure if anyone blogged about it.

8. 1994Johnny Carson makes his last television appearance on Late Show with David Letterman.

Finally, is the #13, so for some talented individuals, not a good day at all.

 9.    Gary Cooper,  American Actor (1901- May 13, 1961)

10.  Chet Baker, American musician and singer (1929- May 13, 1988)

I think one of my favourite little tidbit is the fact that Stevie Wonder was also born on May 13th, 1950.    If you are a frequent reader, you know how much I love, and live for music.    And clearly it must be the reason why after celebrating a certain number of my own birthdays, I have managed to "Stay Gold".

So what is great and interesting about your birthday?
